IMRAN AKRAM
Imran founded IA cement in 2011 to provide consultancy services to the global cement industry. As Chief Executive, he has worked on projects on all continents for a range of clients.
Imran is a former banker and chartered accountant. He has 12 years of experience as a global cement research analyst, mainly at Deutsche Bank where he worked for 10 years as Director and head of European building materials. He qualified with Deloitte as a chartered accountant and is based in London.

MARTIN WILKES
Martin has spent over forty years in the cement industry, starting with Blue Circle Industries in the UK.
He has been in Asia for over 25 years, including ten years as president director of PT Semen Andalas Indonesia and one year as the Regional Development Director for Lafarge Asia Pacific.
He is now working in South-East Asia, on cement distribution and logistics, as well as consultancy.
